Chester eateries Step Up To The Plate to make sure every child is fed this half term

Not wanting to get in any way political here – but the governments decision not to back Marcus Rashford’s campaign for free meals for children during school holidays is pretty shameful – especially at a time like this. But what makes me so sad on one side brings me joy on the other, as even though our hospitality sector is suffering so much right now, many of them have still managed to dig deep and support our local kids with free meals during this half term – no questions asked. Another tear in my eye and another lump in my throat.

WOW Chester Restaurants – you’ve done it again! Well done troops! #endchildfoodpoverty
