The new #OneChester app gives local businesses the opportunity to communicate social distancing measures with the public

The new  #OneChester  app has been specifically developed by local Chester tech company Loyalty Pro  to allow a citywide platform for business to let customers know whether they are open and which services they are providing as well as listing all of their social distancing measures

Every business – and specifically independent businesses in CH1 – CH4 can register themselves on the platform free of charge, which will enable them to continually update their information in real time to keep the public informed about what services they are able to offeralong with the social distancing measures they have implemented – in real time.

The #OneChester community app and web portal is a joint venture between local technology provider Loyalty Pro based at Riverside Innovation Centre and Chester lifestyle guide We Love Good Times. The technology has been gifted to the city on a not-for-profit basis in response to the Coronavirus pandemic

Rob Meakin, MD of Loyalty Pro said ‘the team here at Loyalty Pro have been working round the clock to repurpose our platform to support the city, and we are totally committed to supporting all local businesses to communicate what services they are able to offer at any time. We predict that things will change quickly, so business owners can update their own listings at any time to reflect these changes and communicate them with the public. Add to that the fact that businesses can also inform the public about their social distancing measures via the app, makes it a very powerful technology solution for the city.

Izzy Grey, MD of We Love Good Times added ‘I am so impressed with Loyalty Pro’s technology after working with Rob and his team for the last six months. I know how thorough he is, and he managed to repurpose his technology for the benefit of the city in record time. I think that local businesses need a solid and straight forward technology solution to help them navigate through this very confusing situation and communicate directly with the public. This technology is fully supported by Rob and his team, making it the definitive community platform to bring the entire city together for the first time. This kind of collaboration is exactly what the city needs at a time like this.

Over 400 Chester businesses are already registered on the #OneChester platform, plus the scheme has over 4,000 local members supporting those businesses, and the team are busy ensuring every local business is aware that this support platform is available to them free of charge and fully supported.

You can register your business – and download the app here; – there is a video near the bottom of the landing page demonstrating how a business can register
