Great Neopolitan Pizza with a super-relaxed vibe
I love Dough Dough.
Its a really inviting and welcoming independent restaurant on Northgate Street who have made the most out of their outside table area overlooking Town Hall Square. Its so pretty!
Dough Dough has been with us for a few years now and I’ve visited a number of times, and always thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a really well spaced out restaurant – I love the bench seating and the open kitchen which is a constant buzz of activity with a traditional wood-fired pizza oven.
They raise their signature dough over 24 hours to ensure the perfect Neapolitan pizzas with the freshest, thinnest base and a delicious puffed up Cornicione (crust). As you might have guessed from their name, they also offer unique takes on other types of dough, so make sure you keep an eye out for their limited run guest dough pizzas!
This is a place to relax and enjoy good times with friends and family (but only your own households at the moment!). An informal place with a great vibe and the most delicious, authentic pizza.
Local, Independent, Quality. That’s the WLGT way.
