Classic Festive Christmas Menu
This season, we invite you to join us at the Wild Goose for your own festivities.
Whether it be for a special Lunch, Dinner or a Private Celebration.
Wild Goose Lakeside Bar & Restaurant, Chester
Wild Goose Lakeside Bar & Restaurant is set in 100 acres of beautiful parkland and lakes on the fringe of Chester, serving locally seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
We serve a delicious, traditional English menu with an international twist.
Our bar has a selection of Cheshire ales and more familiar beers while our wine selection brings together quality wines from small independent vineyards.
We are open all day, serving freshly ground coffee and our delicious Cake of the Day from 10am. Our lunch/dinner menu runs from Midday to 9.30pm (sorry we are closed on Mondays – unless booking arrangements are made for corporate or private events)
Sundays are all about the traditional roast! Expect succulent joints, puffy Yorkshires, crispy potatoes, fresh seasonal veg and lashings of gravy! Served between 12pm and 7pm, bookings are highly recommended.
Whether you’re spending time with your friends or family, enjoying the views or sat beside our roaring fire with a paper – it’s a great place to chill out.
If you love alfresco dining, then the Wild Goose Lakeside Bar & Restaurant is perfect for you!
Beach Huts overlook our beautiful lakes and woodland beyond, offering shade from the sunshine. If there is a chill in the air you can experience the exhilarating feel of outside dining wrapped up in complimentary, cosy blankets.
Goslings under 10 are welcome at the Wild Goose Lakeside Bar & Restaurant up to 7pm and outside in our dining area until 9pm.
Older goslings are welcome with parents beyond these times.
We have a limited number of high chairs – so whilst we will always try and accommodate your poppets we would advise you to bring necessary booster seats etc.
We have selected a delicious menu for ‘Little Goslings’, with some great dishes certain to appeal to the little ones (Half portions of main menu avaiable)
If you need us to microwave baby food for you, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly members of staff.
The Wild Goose Restaurant is a popular stop-off for cyclists keen to explore the rolling Cheshire countryside, perhaps en-route to the Welsh Valleys and Snowdonia beyond.
If you are a cyclist and you would like to pop in to refuel, we would love to see you!
We welcome well behaved dogs on leads with owners who are dining outside in our beach huts. Please be mindful not to disturb our varied wildlife and flocks of ducks and geese.
